On the initative of Charles Kieffer, sports-minded entrepreneur and founder of CK Group, CK Sportcenter was constructed in Kockelscheuer in 1980. With 10 tennis courts, 8 skittle alleys, a restaurant and a sports shop CK Sportcenter was at the time one the biggest indoor sports centres in Europe.
CK Sportcenter is ideally located on the outskirts of Luxembourg City amidst the flourishing district of the "Ban the Gasperich" with good traffic connections. After various extension and renovation works CK Sportcenter nowadays extends over an area of around 2 hectares surrounded by forest. In recent years, CK Sportcenter has developed into a modern multisports facility for tennis, squash, badminton and padel. By now CK Sportcenter has around 1000 visitors per week whom are offered a very attractive range of services:
